Dear Members,

As the summer season is just around the corner and anticipation of the clubhouse re-opening increases, I would like to take this time to answer a few questions you might have in regards to Glenmoor.

When will we receive our calendar?

Members should be receiving the calendars by mid-April.  The following is a list of dates and events you should make note of.

GOLF – please call the golf shop to sign up for events.

TENNIS
Tennis drills have begun for the Spring season.  If you are interested in the Tennis program at Glenmoor, please contact Brion Salazar at 720-936-5046.
 

How do we get our children signed up for swimming, golf, tennis and kids camp?

We will have Junior Sports Sign Up Day on Saturday, April 26^th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the accounting trailer at Glenmoor.  If the weather is cooperative, we will have a tent outside with snacks for all our families. 

We have contracted Kids Entertainment to run our Kids Camp this summer.  We are very excited about what this company has to offer.  We hope you take advantage of this great program for kids.

Is there going to be a Father/Daughter Dance this year?

Yes, but the banquet level of the club will not be open until July 1^st.  We are moving the date to September 12^th.  Please mark your calendar.

Can we go to another club for Mother’s Day Brunch?

Valley Country Club has been gracious enough to extend reciprocal dining to the members of Glenmoor for Mother’s Day.  You can call Valley Country Club at 303-690-6373 to make your reservations.

When is the clubhouse going to re-open?

So far construction is on schedule and we plan on re-opening the main level and the basement level on Saturday, May 24^th with the annual Memorial Day Party scheduled for Monday, May 26^th.

When will we be able to reserve banquet space and who do we contact?

The banquet level of the clubhouse is due to open July 1^st.  Angel Keefer, our former food and beverage manager is now our banquet manager.  She is already filling space in the clubhouse for events.  You can contact her at 303-552-8757. 

Is there going to be a “Grand Opening” party?

We want to celebrate the completion of the renovation in first class style.  We are planning an entire weekend of events.  Mark your calendar for July 11 – 13.  Friday night will be “Family Fun” night.  There will be couples golf for golf members (sign up in the golf shop), couples tennis (sign up by contacting Brion Salazar @ 720-936-5046), Dive-in movie night for kids to include a great buffet, pool games and entertainment at the pool and tours of the clubhouse.  On Saturday, we will host the annual poolside clambake.  Board the SS Glenmoor for an “adult only” cruise filled with great entertainment, wonderful food, tours of the club and even a putting contest.  Sunday, come join us for our bon voyage Sunday Brunch.  Chef Penny will produce a fabulous brunch for all members to enjoy.  We will send out more information as we approach July but make sure to mark your calendars now.  You won’t want to miss this one.

When is the Pool going to open for the season?

The pool is scheduled to open on Saturday, May 24^rd.  If you have any questions concerning swim lessons or swim team you can contact Winthrop Dyer at 303-707-1323 or check the Glenmoor swim hotline at 303-597-1195.
